We effectively make up the Northern contingent; we have divers mainly from North Wales, North East and North West England and have a club in Scotland in our ranks just South of Glasgow, which can be reached from Edinburgh.
We run professional AIDA Freediving courses for those in good health and over 18 years of age. Our initial course is run in the Manchester area, but more recently the Head Freediving Coach Steve Millard has been travelling for decent sized groups wanting to learn. We have our club meets in North Manchester and South Manchester, Stockport, Walkden, Liverpool, Altrincham and other informal sessions too.
We train depth at Capernwray in the lake district and Vivian in Llanberis (North Wales) and Dosthill in Tamworth (Birmingham). Our true home though is Dorothea Quarry (North Wales); no-where else is deep enough.
We run trips, and freediving events, throughout the year. One such event is the UK National Pool Championships, and internationally recognised, Great Northern Pool competition.

We run a dynamic pool session in Truro every other week, which is open to qualified free divers in a lovely 25m pool. Static training weekly in a local 10m pool. We are waiting for our on site pool at Porthkerris to be finished which is going to be great for training, 18m long, 3m deep- it even has a blue screen for those of you interested in photography and videography.
We are lucky to be right on the beach at a dive centre located in a marine conservation zone. There is 18m right off shore which is perfect for entry level training, with access to deep water on our boat dives. If you are interested in learning, wildlife, training for advanced divers, ship wrecks or just relaxing on the beach and taking in some of the beautiful scenery on the south-west coastal path, come down to see us! We are on a very sheltered beach so the weather is usually calm, if we happen to have an easterly wind, can usually find a sheltered spot a short drive away. We also have access to a local quarry for those really stormy days, but we prefer the sea!
We run regular wild life trips over the summer to freedive with seals and blue sharks and we have the most spectacular reef on the doorstep. It is considered one of the most beautiful dive spots in the UK. We can organise charters for clubs and individuals. We also run holidays to warmer climes during the winter along with fun annual trips to Nemo or Y-40.

Freedive CornwallClick here to Read More
Based near Falmouth, Freedive Cornwall is run by AIDA Instructor Trainer Sam Kirby. We specialise in teaching people how to enjoy and explore the sea, on a single breath. Whilst we can run the full range of AIDA courses, we prefer to concentrate on tailoring your training to help you stay down longer, swim more efficiently and perfect your technique so you get the most from your dive. This might be to help your spearfishing, to take photos, undertake marine surveys, or just see the most you can without needing scuba gear. We also help surfers with their breath holds so the washing machine waves on the north coast are not quite so scary and kayakers who are worried about their breath hold for rolling. Courses, pool sessions and guided freedives take place all year round and all over Cornwall so just get in touch if you think we might be able to help.

Based in the centre of Dahab (only 1 hour from the resort and airport of Sharm el Sheik) Blue Ocean Freedivers offer AIDA courses and also personal coaching programmes for freedivers. We provide a small and friendly freediving experience for anyone from absolute beginner to national record holders.
We are an AIDA centre and are able to offer courses from beginner to instructor and everything in between.
We have not 1, not 2 but 3 bases in Dahab! And during your time with us you will probably visit all three. For the confined and theory we are based in our home dive centre which includes our own purpose built 30m Freediving pool and accommodation (1 bedroom villa that looks onto the dynamic pool). We also have a base in the bay in Dahab and obviously we need a base at the famous Blue Hole
Blue Ocean Freedivers started in 2008 when we realized our dream to move to one of the best places in the world to Freedive, Dahab, Egypt. There are very few places in the world that you can step straight into the Blue Hole and have the ability to dive to 90 meters. We don’t need any boats to get to us to the best reefs and depths to dive. Established by Brian Crossland (AIDA Instructor Trainer) Blue Ocean Freedivers offers first rate facilities for both open water freediving and pool training.
Blueocean Freediving motto is to provide a boutique Freediving centre. We endeavour to provide not just your freediving courses or training but also we can help plan your whole holiday in Dahab, from transport, accommodation, rental of equipment and trips out to see other aspects of Dahab
In our freediving centre, boutique means a personalised approach to your training, maximum numbers of people on the course will be 4, more likely less. Training weeks tailored to your schedule and continued advice when you travel back home so that you can continue your freediving hobby.
Our passion is Freediving and Dahab. It’s what makes us want to jump out of bed every morning and go freediving and we love to share this passion with you.
